Green Beans by Classification

  • E

    Elephant" grade, denoting beans distinguished by their notably large size and consistent quality.

  • AA

    This grade represents the largest and highest quality beans with minimal defects. and superior flavor

  • AB

    AB grade beans are slightly smaller than AA beans but still produce high quality. Coffee

  • PB

    PB, or Peaberry, beans are unique in that they consist of single, rounded beans rather than the typical two flat-sided beans found in a coffee cherry

  • C

    C grade beans are smaller and may have more defects compared to AA and AB beans. But, they still produce good-quality coffee.

  • TT

    TT (Triplet Triage) grade coffee is a blend of the high quality beans, and Triage beans that are slightly smaller or may have minor defects

  • T

    T (Triage) grade coffee beans that are slightly smaller or may have more defects compared to Triplet beans.

  • MH/ML

    MH/ML (Mbuni) beans are typically small and irregular in size and may have a relatively  higher number of defects.
